About
Justinian's Great Church, finished in 537, carries a dome about 31 m across on four great arches and a ring of 40 windows, held east and west by two great semidomes that step down to smaller exedrae and the apse. The Ottomans added the four minarets and Sinan's buttresses; the model shows the church in its paved precinct with the garden beds and the şadırvan.
